A Memorable Halloween: Annual Trunk-or-Treat
November 3, 2023
Pine Grove's annual Trunk-or-Treat has become a cherished tradition, uniting our community, staff, vendors, families, and residents for a spooktacular day of festivities. Organized by our dedicated team members, including Tiffany Hommes, Tishia Pratt, Cindy Pratt, Pam Belmonte, Jeannie Welch, Daniel Poff, Jamie Robertson, Tom Beck, Sara Bartel, Carissa Allen, Brandi Franklin, Cassie Webster, Dan Sichko, and his activities team, this event has evolved into one of the largest and most anticipated in our community.
This year's Trunk-or-Treat extravaganza took place at Jefferson Healthcare, providing a safe and festive environment right in our backyard. Residents, employees, families, community members, and vendors alike flocked to the event, transforming the grounds into a Halloween haven.
The spooky trail catered to all ages, offering a delightful adventure for our residents and their families. For those seeking a spine-tingling experience, the Haunted House provided just the right amount of fright. The air buzzed with excitement, happiness, and the sweet aroma of candy, creating an atmosphere full of sugar-induced joy. Food trucks, popcorn balls, and a DJ added to the festivities, ensuring there was something for everyone. Door prizes, a popular feature, added an extra element of fun, creating an opportunity for attendees to walk away with some exciting rewards.
Participating facilities like Jefferson Healthcare Center, Carington Park, and Saybrook Landing added to the sense of community, making the event a collaborative effort. The overall feel was one of excitement, happiness, and a collective sugar high, bringing people together for a day filled with laughter and shared experiences.
Events like our Trunk-or-Treat are vital for community involvement, fostering a culture of care, and reinforcing the notion that we are one big family. They hold particular significance for our residents, ensuring they remain active members of the community, embracing every moment of joy and celebration. It's not just an event; it's a testament to the vibrant, connected, and caring community we've built together.
